Frog is a symbol of shamanism. It teaches how to 'Jump' from one level to another - from Materialism to Spirituality, and from one teaching to another, and to find the connection between them.
The Frog emerges at adulthood from a water environment (world of fluidity) to that of Earth (solidity and security). As a power animal, Frog can help you to acclimatize to a new way of life or to just a new viewpoint. Its power is in harmonizing you with any new situation.
Frog also has to do with replenishment, cleansing - the nurturing of self - with taking care of yourself. So it can help you to get rid of any negativity and to replenish your mind and spirit.

Water is associated with absorption and diffusement, and Frog can help you to wash away ideas and impressions that might be impeding your development.

Experience the wonderful and incredibly powerful secretion of the Kambo Frog, known also as the 'Giant Green Monkey Tree Frog'. The scientifc name for Kambo is 'Phyllomedusa Bicolor'. The use of Kambo difers amongst the various jungle tribes. Its main use is to lift Panema, an indigenous name for Dark or Negative Energy. When Panema is cleared, everything becomes easier, obstacles can be overcome and life has a tendency to flow gracefully and more naturally.

Traditionally Kambo is used to Cleanse, Strengthen, and Energise the Minds and Bodies of tribal hunters. During the hunt the hunter would appear invisible because the hunter believes that Kambo temporarily eliminates the Human Body Odour. You may hear Kambo being referred to as 'Hunting Magic'. Kambo is also known as Sapo and Dow-kiet.
Further traditional uses of Kambo include treatment for Malaria, Snake Bites, Fevers, Infections, Fertility Issues, Behavioural Correction, to increase Energy and Stamina, Pain Reduction, Sexual Attraction and to increase Self-Empowerment. Outside of the forest, Kambo has been the subject of more than two decades of Medical Research.
An Italian scientist, Vittorio Erspamer, of the University of Rome was the first to analyse Kambo in a Laboratory Environment. Vittorio Erspamer was twice nominated for a Nobel Prize and was also responsible for first discovering the well-known neurotransmitter Serotonin. Erspamer concluded that Kambo contains a ‘Fantastic Chemical Cocktail with potential medical applications, unequalled by any other Amphibian’. His findings brought
great attention to the area of Peptides which have since become very important to the medical field.

Kambo is administered by burning small 'Gates' into the skin with a Natural Incense Stick.

NB: A Kambo Practitioner is only removing the first layer of the skin.

The Frog Secretion is then applied as 'Points' or 'Dots' to the surface of the skin i.e. at the opened 'Gate' site.
Aftercare for the Gates comes in the form of Dragons Blood. Dragons Blood is sourced from Tree Bark and Sap. The Dragons Blood liquid is applied to the Gates after a Kambo ceremony. Dragons Blood is Antioxidant rich, is known to Accelerate Healing, can Reduce Scarring, and forms a Protective Liquid Bandage when dried.
Kambo will start doing its work by Purging from your Body anything that no longer serves you on the Physical, Mental, Spiritual and Energetic Level.

NB: Purging in this way is referring to a Physical Purge i.e. Vomiting, Sweating, Tears, Coughing and Diarrhoea.

Physical discomfort varies from person to person. For some, it can be an Energetic Purge, a Mental or Emotional Purge, for others it's more a Physical Purge. From ceremony to ceremony the type of Purge also varies from person to person.
Kambo work can be exhausting; a rest is needed after your Process. Tea, Fruit, Soup, and Bread will be served to Balance and Energise your Body after your Kambo ceremony.
